I want to start by apologizing for not posting pictures before the holidays. I have decided that I am going to be better about keeping up with this blog as well as updating the website and facebook page. (sounds like I just put a lot on my plate)

The Christmas market in Pensacola went well. Thanks to all who came out to support us. After the Market, the holidays took over my life, house, plans, etc. I am just now getting into a 'normal' schedule and now have the time to get back to my blog/website/facebook page upkeep. the holidays are upon us...

purdy burpy is still busy making burp cloths, but has also taken on a new project. we are now making soft headbands that go completely around the head! they are super cute and comfy!

in other news, we will be at a christmas market in pensacola, fl on dec 5. there will be plenty of burp cloths to choose from as well as a large selection of headbands. if you can't make it to the market, go visit purdy burpy on facebook. we would love for you to 'like' us!

beginnings

purdy burpy started when friends kept getting pregnant and my wallet couldn't keep up. i have always treasured home-made, hand-made gifts more than store bought. i hoped my friends felt the same because i was going to begin making burp cloths for them.
i have to give credit to my grandmother for teaching me how to sew and then letting me kidnap her machine. she hasn't missed it and i am loving it! i also have to thank my friend in DC who was the guiena pig for this adventure- nothing but positive words through the learning process.
purdy burpy has become a 'go to' gift for me to give to friends. i am learning short cuts and time savers that don't take away from the quality of the product. i am hoping to grow this adventure into a business and would love your positive thoughts. wish me luck and follow along...
